Winter Adventure Weekend Early Bird Special!

Winter Adventure Weekend guests checking in early or staying after may take advantage of special rates of $39.95 +tax for a lodge room and $84.95 +tax for a cottage. These rates are valid for the nights of Thursday, January 26 and Sunday, January 29, 2012. Regular rates apply during the Winter Adventure Weekend.

Please note on Thursday there will be no food service available at the lodge except for a continental breakfast on Thursday and Friday Mornings. Regular food service will resume on Friday for the dinner meal. There will be no food service after the Sunday lunch meal except for a continental breakfast on Monday morning.

Carter Caves State Resort Park is a complete resort facility operated by the Kentucky Department of Parks.

There is a modern 28 room Lodge and 11 modern cottages. Reservations for accommodations are made by calling: 1-800-325-0059.

Camping

The Park's two campground are open for camping during Winter Adventure Weekend.

Regular Campground - You have both tent sites and also Electric sites. There will be no water hook ups at the Water And Electric sites. The cost for these are $15 per night with up to 8 people on a site. These are not reservable. They will have access to the bath house that is at the campground registration building. There is plenty of availablilty in the campround during Winter Adventure Weekend.

Horse Campground - These will be full hookups. Water, Electric and Sewer. These will continue with their regular rates. These are reservable through Reserve America. Call 888-459-7275.

 

Free Camping For Youth Groups: Youth groups registering eight or more participants can camp in the Park's regular campground at no charge on Friday and Saturday night of Winter Adventure Weekend! This free camping offer applies to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church groups and all youth groups. Please include your group name during the registration process. Your group is automatically eligible for free camping once you register eight or more participants.

Dining

 

During Winter Adventure Weekend the lodge restaurant serves hot, hearty food Buffet style for all the hungry adventurers. Meals not included in your registration.

Breakfast 7:00am—10:30am
(Saturday & Sunday)

Lunch 11:30am—3:00pm
(Saturday & Sunday)

Dinner 4:00pm—8:00pm
(Friday & Saturday)

Closed Sunday Dinner.

Food Service from December 29th, 2011 through February 29th, 2012 is only available from Dinner on Friday through lunch on Sunday. Continental Breakfast only for lodging guests will be available through the remainder of the week.
